Testing the e-Learning platform in Romania

The piloting of the InclusiveHE E-Learning Platform & MOOC in the University of Pitesti, Romania, took place from 22 to 29 September 2022 in three steps:

  • Testing the E-Learning platform and MOOC

The first step took place from 22 to 28 September 2022 with the participants testing online the E-Learning platform and MOOC. They efficiently navigated the E-Learning platform and better understood the content of the MOOC.

  • Brainstorming session on the E-Learning platform and MOOC

The second step took place on September 28, 2022, when participants attended a face-to-face brainstorming session. During the session, the participants discussed about the usability and content of the MOOC.

  • Evaluation of the E-Learning platform and MOOC

The third step took place on September 29, 2022, when the participants completed a survey form to assess the user experience when navigating the platform.

Six participants, all academics in the University of Pitesti (2 lecturers and 4 senior lecturers), positively commented on the material, which, as they said, made them reflect on how they can make their university more inclusive in a practical way, using this online material. Participants also shared various good inclusion practices applied in the University of Pitesti. Their general opinion was that such material can be used to increase the learning performances of all the students, both those with various disabilities or special learning needs, and those without. Also, it will improve the level of knowledge about inclusion and the digital skills of the teachers and it will prove a useful training experience in their future professional activity in higher education.
