Recognizing the need to raise awareness on inclusive behavior and policies, the InclusiveHE consortium has developed an online MOOC with six interactive modules for HE faculty staff on how to develop inclusive practices in HE.
The modules are self-paced and have a total duration of 18 hours. They cover a wide range of topics:
- Introduction to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Design and development of inclusive programmes
- Inclusion in terms of gender, sex, culture, race and language
- Inclusion of Special Needs Students in HE
- Social Justice Education and Conflict Resolution
- Technology for Inclusion
Each module has a reading activity in two units, an assessment quiz to check the knowledge acquired and further reading for users who want to further study a topic.
