The consortium of the InclusiveHE project is glad to introduce a research-based, practical and innovative toolkit that has been created to support higher education institutions, administrators and policy makers to develop and monitor inclusive policies and practices. The toolkit consists of six tools, which are recommended to be used in the following order: Framework, Checklist, Canvas, SWOT-analysis, Strategy Worksheet and Database. A special focus will be given on one of these tools: the Inclusive Higher Education Strategy Worksheet.
If you are interested in improving the inclusive policies and practices for your entire HEI or just for a specific target group, policy or practice of your institution, you can use the Inclusive Higher Education Strategy Worksheet as a vehicle to support the development of an innovating plan for moving your HEI inclusive policies and practices forward from their current state. To better use this tool, proceed with the following algorithm:

First assess, reflect and analyse the current state of inclusive policies and practices in your HEI, using the templates in Inclusive Higher Education Checklist, Canvas and SWOT-analysis.

Then define strategic goals and initiatives and create an inclusive higher education strategy for your institution/department/other, using the table template in the Inclusive Higher Education Strategy Worksheet. Refer to specific target groups of disadvantaged persons in your HEI and plan an initiative by identifying for each one of them: the goals to be achieved, the actions to be taken, the timeframe for these actions, their priority level and the actors to be involved in them.

Use the Inclusive Higher Education Framework and Database for inspiration and guidelines from the current state-of-the-art of good policies and practices in HE across Europe.

Finally, share the results with all those involved in the implementation of the designed actions, strategies and plans in your HEI.
